- There are currently several threats to Ireland's sovereignty.
The people of Ireland must take immediate steps to safeguard their nation's independence. Immediate steps to ensure the continuance of Ireland as a sovereign nation with self-determination and freedom, for the sake of all Ireland's children and also the future generations of this country. We each one of us, must bear the responsibility to protect that self-determination and freedom. We must strongly ensure, re-assert and clarify internationally Ireland's historically neutral position that is held in such circumstances.
